What's a better place to start than Leah's first BIG dance recital.

On May 1, Leah danced with Cece's Extravadance Co. in their final performance. She was so sweet and cute. Of course I cried, not only because it was my baby girl up there, but also because my good friend Cece will be moving away this summer. I'm very sad about that. She has been a
wonderful friend and I'll miss her very much.Because I have two good friends who teach dance, Leah was able to take two dance classes. Her other recital with Sue's Dance Company was on May 17. She was a mermaid and danced to "Kiss the Girl" from The Little Mermaid and was a car from the movie "CARS". So cute!!!

It was a night I'll never forget!Leah's little preschool is wrapping up. Her "spring program" is on May 29. We're looking forward to it. It's been a fun and busy school year for Leah and mommy's been there for most of the activities and extras. I think we're ready for a little break though.
Hayden is graduating from Kindergarten on May 28. He has done so well this year and has progressed leaps and bounds. We are so glad we decided keep him back in preschool. His teacher has non-stop praise for his efforts and he hears it and wants to do well. A far cry from his preschool years. He didn't want to go, or play with the kids or even look at the I SEE SAM books. He could've cared less. But now he enjoys school and I hope that continues throughout his grade school years. ( I'm not counting my chickens yet!!!)
We're planning Hayden and Leah's birthday celebration for the 5th of June. Leah's 4th birthday is on June 2 and Hayden's 7th birthday is on June 3. We're having some friends and family over for a backyard BBQ/water party. It'll be fun. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. I can't believe my babies are this big, and it's just going to go faster and faster. It's all happening too fast! I love being their mom and enjoy being with them each day. I find when I'm subbing at the schools, I have to put them in the back of my mind or I feel like I'm going to have a panic attack. It feels like we've been apart for a week. They also have a little separation anxiety when we're apart. Don't worry, I'm sure that will end in the coming years. I'm just so grateful to be home with them!
So, with the school year ending and plenty of time coming our way, we hope to swim alot, play in the sand on the beach, go biking & hiking, spend time with our friends, watch plenty of movies and I'm sure if Jared gets his way, we'll be camping more than half of the summer! Isn't life great!
Wishing you a happy & safe summer! Loves, ~Lindsay & Family

Yay for blogs! It's a fun way to keep up! And I check them almost every day, so I feel like I've seen everyone recently. Looks great! Thanks for coming! We had a blast with you here. Are you wanting the kids to come next month? Email me and let me know. :) Love ya!
Hi Steph! It was fun spending time with you and the fam! Thanks again! The kids do want to come in June but we're trying to figure out how many days for sure. Maybe 2 nights. I'll email you. Love you! ~L
I'm so glad you jumped on the bandwagon. Since all you Mumford cousins live so far away from us and we don't see you that often, it's easy to lose track. Blogs are so nice--I always feel like I'm up to date with everyone. We're planning on coming for the 4th (crazy time for a trip with gas $4/gal).
I am impressed.
Very cool! That brother-in-law of yours sounds like a pretty cool guy.
Yah Yah Yah, you know I can't do anything without you! Thanks to Steph for sharing you with me in all the right ways!
Hey! I'm the only one with no blog. I guess I am blog-less. Not blog-worthy... boring!!!
Good job! Jeremy is right- he is cool!
Nice family guys. Keep up the good work. You are all inspirational to me! Thanks for the love and support of the fam!
