We had a great thanksgiving with all that could make it to our home for dinner. I wish that I had taken a picture with everyone at the table because that is what has jogged my fond memories of Thanksgiving's past at Grandma Helen's house. The kids did some crafts later that night and we got pics of that. (i just can't find them at the moment! : )

Christmas was also great. It's always so busy through December, but being "with child" gave me a good excuse to say no to a few requests of do-gooding. I was selfish and wanted to spend as much time as possible with the fam and watch Christmas movies and hang with the kids in the evenings. We had fun.

The new year has brought new hope for me personally. I've been pretty down and negative from thoughts of the past 5 months and Hayden's stroke dr. recently giving us not-so-bright hopes for his future. But, just this morning I was copying video clips to cd and watched one of Leah and Hayden saying goodbye when he was unexpectedly admitted to Primary Children's and COULD NOT believe how bad he really was. It made me stop and reflect and be so very thankful for how he is back to normal and hope and pray that he stays that way. That is for today. Who knows what tomorrow may bring, but I believe in miracles and he is one.

What did the doctor say about Hayden? I hadn't heard any new not-so-great news. Your family picture is great--everyone looks wonderful!! We love you lots. Call me if you need to talk!

I'm glad you took some "you" time over Christmas. You completely deserve it!! And I'm sure your kids and hubs were thrilled to have you to themselves a little more than usual. :)

So...you're getting close! I haven't heard any rumbles of names for the new little. Is it a secret?

I can't blame you for the worries and stresses of the second half of 2008 clouding your mind. You have a good attitude about it though. 2009 is a fresh, new start! You have some cute kiddos!
